Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Phor Khom Mae Taeng collects, uses, and protects personal information on phorkhom.com and our related ticketing services.
Personal information is any information that can identify you. This includes details such as your name, email address, phone number, identification document number, payment-related information, and information about how you use our website.
If our website contains links to third-party sites or services, those sites have their own privacy policies. After you leave our website, this Privacy Policy no longer applies to how those third parties collect or use your information.
This policy is effective as of 25 September 2026.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect falls into two categories: information you provide to us, and information collected automatically when you use our website.
Information you provide
We may collect personal information when you create an account, buy a ticket, update attendee details, contact us, or otherwise use our services. This may include:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Account password, which is stored as a secure one-way hash rather than as readable text
- Attendee name, nationality, and ID card or passport number
- Pick-up point, dietary requirements, and food allergy information
- Order, payment, and e-ticket details
Booking for another person
If you provide details for another attendee, please share this policy with them and make sure you are authorized to provide their information. A ticket recipient's contact details may differ from those of the person attending the event.
Food allergies and other health information
Food allergy information is sensitive health information. Its intended purpose is to help arrange meals and communicate relevant requirements to the people preparing or serving food. Please provide only details relevant to that purpose, and do not include medical records or unrelated health information. Selecting a vegetarian meal does not tell us whether you also have a food allergy.
Processing health information requires explicit consent or another applicable exception under Thai law. Reading or accepting this policy is not, by itself, explicit consent. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it by contacting us; this may affect our ability to accommodate your dietary needs.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our servers and browser may collect standard technical information. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit, and error information if a page does not load correctly.
This technical information may not identify you on its own, but it can identify you if it is combined with other information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We collect and use personal information only when we have a legitimate reason to do so, and only as needed to operate our event and ticketing services. We may use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process ticket orders and confirm payment
- Issue e-tickets and send order confirmation emails
- Verify entry at the event with your QR code or e-ticket
- Arrange shuttle or meeting-point information related to your ticket
- Arrange meals and communicate relevant dietary requirements, subject to the safeguards for health information described above
- Respond to questions, name-change requests, or support issues
- Keep our website secure and improve how it works
- Comply with legal, accounting, or event-operation requirements
Legal bases
Account administration and ticket fulfilment generally involve steps requested before entering a contract or performance of that contract. Records required by law are processed to comply with legal obligations. Necessary security and fraud-prevention activities may rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Where consent is required, including for health information unless a legal exception applies, it must be obtained separately. These bases do not mean that every item of information is needed for every purpose.
3. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website. A cookie is a small file stored on your device that our website can read when you return.
We use an essential session cookie, phorkhom_session, to keep you signed in, remember your ticket selection during checkout, and protect forms against unauthorized use. This cookie is required for the ticketing website to work. If you block it, you may not be able to log in, complete a purchase, or stay signed in.
We do not use this session cookie to show advertising. Your browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Doing so can affect essential features of the website.
Our homepage includes an embedded Google Maps map. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google and may disclose your IP address, browser information, and other request information even if you do not click the map. Google may also use cookies or similar technologies, depending on your browser and account settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Our Instagram and Facebook icons are links to external pages. Visiting those pages allows the relevant platform to process information under its own privacy policy. Their practices are separate from our essential session cookie.
4. Third Parties
We may share personal information with trusted third parties only as needed to provide our services, or where the law requires us to do so. This may include:
- Email service providers, so that we can send e-tickets and order confirmations
- Website hosting and database providers that store our website and order records
- Google Maps when an embedded map loads or you open a map link
- Social media platforms, such as Instagram or Facebook, if you choose to visit our official pages
- Our staff, contractors, or event partners who need the information to deliver the event, shuttle, or entry services
- Courts, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities when required by law
We do not sell your personal information. Third-party services have their own privacy practices. Please read those policies before providing information directly to them or continuing onto their websites.
This policy does not identify an active payment processor or confirm that a card transaction has been processed. Do not enter real card details into a test checkout. When a live payment provider is introduced, the checkout and this policy must identify the provider and explain how payment information is handled.
External providers may process information outside Thailand. The locations and safeguards depend on the provider used. Relevant international transfers must meet applicable Thai data-protection requirements; an external link or this policy alone does not provide consent to a transfer.
5. Security of Your Personal Information
Account passwords are stored using one-way password hashing. The ticketing application uses sign-in checks to restrict access to customer orders and tickets, and role checks for administrative functions. These safeguards do not mean that every other field in our database is encrypted.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for using a strong password on your account.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
Retention depends on the purpose and type of record:
- Account information: while the account is needed to provide services or resolve outstanding requests, subject to any required retention after closure.
- Orders and payment-related records: for applicable accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements.
- Attendee identification, pick-up details, and dietary information: for event preparation, entry verification, service delivery, and any necessary follow-up. Health information should not be retained merely because an accounting record must be kept.
- Technical logs and security records: for investigating errors, abuse, or security incidents and any applicable legal requirements.
Exact retention periods and deletion schedules have not yet been specified in this policy. Please contact us about a particular record or a deletion request. Expiry of a purpose should lead to deletion or anonymization unless a continuing lawful reason requires retention; this statement is not a claim that automatic deletion is currently implemented.
7. Children’s Privacy
An adult may book a ticket for a child and provide the information needed for attendance. Where processing relies on consent, the requirements for minors under Thai law apply, including consent from a person with parental responsibility where required. We do not apply a universal under-13 rule to determine whether a minor can provide valid consent.
If you believe a child's information was submitted without the necessary authority or consent, please contact us so that we can review the circumstances and take appropriate action.
8. Your Rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, your rights may include:
- Access to your personal information and a copy of it.
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion or anonymization where the legal conditions are met.
- Restriction of processing and objection to certain uses.
- Data portability where applicable.
- Withdrawal of consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- A complaint to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee or another competent authority.
You do not have to provide personal information to browse the public pages of our website. If you do not provide the information required for an account or ticket purchase, we may not be able to complete your order, issue an e-ticket, or admit you to the event.
To make a privacy request or complaint, contact us using the details below and include enough information for us to verify your request.
Please do not send your password or full payment-card details with a request. We may need proportionate identity verification and will explain any applicable limitation on fulfilling your request.
9. Links to Other Websites
Our website may link to websites or services that we do not operate, including payment pages, map services, and social media. We are not responsible for the content, cookies, or privacy practices of those third-party sites.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, our business processes, or applicable law. The updated policy will be posted on this page. If a change is significant, we may also notify registered users through our official communication channels.
